Vessel Walkthrough
Boarding from the swim platform at a floating deck or the port or starboard of the Cockpit from a fixed dock one enters the small Cockpit with built in seating Engine Room access the sliding door to the Salon or the molded steps to the Flybridge.The Salon is next forward with the Galley on the same level forward to starboard. Up two steps to the Pilothouse area which offers excellent visibility.To port is a Companionway that leads to the three Guest Cabins and two Heads. The VIP is forward the Guest Head to port the Guest Cabin to starboard and the Master is aft located amidships.The very spacious Flybridge is fully enclosed and air conditioned.
Salon
The Salon of the Sea Ray 54 Motoryacht is wide open and spacious. Immediately to port is an L shaped Ultra Leather sofa with storage below. The sofa seats four and has accent pillows that compliment the full drapes across the aft stainless steel sliding entry door. In front of the sofa is a hi-lo cherry table triangular in shape.Upon entering the Salon to starboard there is an entertainment cabinet behind a smoked glass door that contains the following equipment:Bose Lifestyle 20 AM/FM/CD playerPanasonic 4 head HiFi VCRSony 5 disc CD/DVD changerSony Direct TV digital Sat receiverThe service port for the KVH dome and a pull out drawer for CD's and DVD's. An open shelf below provides additional storage.On the forward side of the same cabinet is a four door electrical panel for the 110/220 AC panel and the 24V DC panel. Next forward is a two person built in loveseat with drawer storage below.Also in the Salon are five halogen overhead light fixtures pull up Duette type side cabin window shades central vacuum outlet a Fireboy Xintex CO monitor digital SMX II AC controls and a brass reading light over the corner of the sofa and Bose Surround Sound speakers with a hidden subwoofer.
Galley
The Galley is next forward and is an open L shape opposite that of the L shape settee. The countertops are Aurora sandstone "Corian" type solid surface countertop. Pilothouse
Although not a true Pilothouse the forward area of the main deck on the 54 Sea Ray will put some Pilothouse motoryachts to shame! A large centerline helm has ample room for electronics. An Ultra Leather "Steel/Flex" helm chair offers nearly any adjustment with its nine way electric adjustments.A wrap around settee to seat four to five covered in sand colored Ultra Leather offers a panoramic view for those wishing to accompany the captain. Large side windows with Duette shades plus a sliding helm area door to port offer lots of natural light and quick access to the Lower Helm. Companionway
Starting from portside of the Lower Helm area eight curved carpeted steps lead below. Along the way are six additional cabinet doors for storage. The bottom step lifts up to reveal the Beam central vacuum. At the lower level to starboard is the Guest Cabin. Aft is the Master. Up two steps to forward is the VIP and the Guest Head. A DC light and skylight are above and a central vac outlet is in the lowest step riser.
Master Cabin
The Master Cabin is full beam located amidships in the quietest part of the boat. The berth is off the port aft corner and is a tapered queen berth with storage under the innerspring mattress and rope lighting in the toe kick. A four panel mirror behind the berth that appears to wrap around most of the cabin has rope accent lighting above. A wrap around shelf at the head of the berth serves as a nightstand.Above the berth are two opening stainless steel portholes behind full drapes.A new 26 Naxa LCD TV with DVD is in a custom fold down mount from the overhead facing the berth.Forward is a small hanging locker a two door cabinet and another cabinet with a Splendido 2000 washer/dryer combo. The inside of the entry cabin door is fully mirrored.Opposite the berth is a cherry cabinet consisting of two large cherry drawers two cherry cabinets and three cherry doors concealing a Panasonic 13" TV/VCR combo.Aft of the berth are three open storage shelves a cabinet accessing the yachts hot and cold water manifold system and a large mirrored hanging locker with cedar lining and auto light.
Master Head
To the starboard side of the stateroom is the semi open Master Head (a la the successful Carver 53/56/57).Centerline raised one step up is the cherry bow front vanity with two storage drawers below and a molded Corian sink above with a Grohe single lever faucet. Two beveled mirrored medicine cabinet doors are above with two beveled mirror side panels. Aft behind a smoked Lexan door is the Vacuuflush toilet and three cabinet doors for storage. Two DC lights an opening obscured glass stainless steel portholes and an AC vent are also in this area. Forward behind a matching Lexan door is the stall shower with a seat teak grate sole shelf opening obscured glass stainless steel porthole and a wall mounted or handheld Grohe shower fixture with two lights above. Also in the Master Cabin are seven halogen mini spots two Bose cube speakers two large halogen lights in the head storage under the sole a Fireboy Xintex CO detector and SMX II digital AC controls. The Bose system in the Salon can be accessed via a multi function remote.
Guest Cabin
The Starboard Side Guest Cabin has the oversize over/under bunks with innerspring mattresses. Above the upper berth are two opening stainless steel portholes with full drapes plus a cherry storage cabinet. Above the lower berth is a three section open storage cuddy and two overhead halogen min spots. The upper berth has a brass reading light. Forward and inboard is a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker.Behind the entry door is a built in 13" Panasonic TV/VCR combo three open storage shelves and a Fireboy Xintex CO monitor.
Guest Head
Across the Companionway to port is the Guest Head shared by both the Guest Cabin and VIP. There are two entrance doors one from the Companionway and the other from the VIP.The Head has a fiberglass in liner for ease of maintenance. The vanity has a single cabinet below and a molded Corian sink above with a Grohe single lever two tone faucet. Above are four medicine cabinet doors for ample storage. The toilet is a Vacuuflush model. The stall shower has a teak grate sole a seat a shelf an opening obscured glass porthole with screen a light a curved Lexan shower door and side lights and a handheld or wall mountable shower fixture. Also in the Head are fiver overhead halogen lights an exhaust fan and an AC vent. The sole is ceramic tile.
VIP Cabin
The VIP Cabin is all the way forward. An upholstered headboard is below a large mirrored panel with two reading lights above. The berth is a modified tapered queen size berth with an innerspring mattress and two drawers at the foot of the berth and rope lights at the underside of the perimeter. Outboard of the berth on both the port and starboard sides are two stainless steel dead lights with full drapes and four cherry cabinet doors above. At the foot of the starboard side of the berth is a full size cedar lined hanging locker with a mirror on the outside of the door. The cabin's entry door is next aft.On the portside are two cabinets one housing a Panasonic 13" TV/VCR combo the other for storage. Below is a built in shelf to serve as a nightstand. Next aft is the cherry entry door to the forward Head.Also in this cabin is soffit type AC delivery digital SMX II AC controls a Fireboy Xintex CO monitor and a hatch in the sole to access storage as well as the bow thruster.

Remarks
Traded to a larger yacht owner in late October 2010 this very clean 54 MY was displayed in the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show and sold on site! Her new owner is placing her up for sale to purchase a much larger vessel. A rare offering in very nice condition.
