Electrical System
It is a 24V system powered by eight 300Ah batteries for the on-board utilities and Optima 75Ah batteries for the engines. These batteries can supply maximum start up power even in extreme weather conditions (extreme heat or cold) and ensure a much higher number of charge/discharge cycles compared to conventional batteries and withstand long periods of yacht inactivity. The Optima Blue Top service batteries are charged by two 120A auxiliary alternators, while the engine batteries have their own charging system with a 55A alternator (for each engine). The battery charger chosen for the Sixty 4 HT is an 80 Amp model powering the yachts batteries when the shore power cable is connected. A 20 kVA generator is on-board and was chosen because it can safely provide all the electrical power needed on board without any drops in power. It is very silent and fuel efficent.
Air-Conditioning System
This yacht has a last-generation air-conditioning system with a single compressor delivering a cooling capacity of 72,000 BTU's, an inrush current of about 40A, a consumption of 8.8 kW, and a rated current of 33A. The IDEA series system by Condaria is a rarity on the yacht scene. Very few yacht builders install it because it costs much more than a system with two or three compressors. The high purchase price is an advantage for owners instead, because the IDEA is the only product on the market that does not have the peak in the current absorbed by the compressors at start-up with the frequency changer gradually starting the compressor. The IDEA series ensures top performance with the low consumption and accurate regulation of the cooling capacity with two modes: day or night.
Electronic Instruments
The selected Raymarine G-Series navagation instruments including the G-Series system and the powerful GPM400 processor give a processing speed ten times greater than the traditional marine electronic instruments of the E-Series installed on most boats. With the new set of instruments, the maps of geographical regions are all loaded on the hard disk incorporated in the GPM400 allowing consultation of 3D maps, aerial photo overlay, port services, panoramic photos of ports, animationsof currents and tides. Supplied as a standard with Platinum+ maps, you can view high-resolution aerial or satellite photos. A compact-size SPX 30 GYRO automatic pilot is installed. It offers excellent performance thanks to the integrated Gyroplus system (an internal gyroscope capable of maintaining route stability in any sea and weather condition) and to the AST system, a sort of self-learning system that learns the yacht's navigation features and adapts its performance.
Hard Top
Thanks to cooperation with WEBASTO, Cranchi created a new Hard Top for the Sixty 4 HT with two-stage sliding, one with deflector, similiar to that in the car industry and one with total opening.
Electric Windows
Two powerful electric systems have been installed to power the downward movement of the side windows and their closing.
